This presentation will cover updates in CPPD disease epidemiology, classification criteria, and long-term outcomes in the joint and beyond the joint.
Speaker Bio:
Dr. Sara Tedeschi is a rheumatologist and clinical investigator at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where she is Head of Crystalline Arthritic Diseases. She is Principal Investigator of the NIH-funded CRYSTALLIZE trial of colchicine versus placebo in CPPD disease. She co-led the development of the ACR/EULAR CPPD Disease Classification Criteria and serves as Co-Chair of the OMERACT CPPD Working Group. Dr. Tedeschi also serves on the American College of Rheumatology Quality of Care Criteria Subcommittee.
