Speaker Bio:
Dr. Alireza Meysami, MD, MBA, CPE, FACR, FACP, is a nationally recognized rheumatologist and healthcare leader serving as Division Head of Rheumatology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He is also an Associate Professor of Medicine at Michigan State University and Clinical Associate Professor at Wayne State University. Dr. Meysami completed his rheumatology fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts, along with advanced leadership training through the American Association for Physician Leadership.
Board-certified in rheumatology and internal medicine, Dr. Meysami is highly regarded for his expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound, tele-rheumatology, and complex autoimmune diseases, including IgG4-related disease. He leads multiple clinical programs and serves as principal investigator on numerous national and international clinical trials focused on lupus, psoriatic arthritis, and other rheumatic conditions.
In addition to his clinical and research work, Dr. Meysami is an active educator, mentor, and speaker, contributing extensively to medical training programs and professional societies. He has held leadership roles within the Henry Ford Health System and regional medical organizations and has been recognized as a Top Rheumatologist in Detroit.
